France and Germany Govt have asked that IE ( Internet Explorer) browser be removed. There are many articles, but there is one article directly from Microsoft.  IE has coding flaws and security was hacked. Main threat: IE6 on XP OS, but IE7 and 8 along with OS Vista and Windows 7 have the flaw.  Safest bet is to clean and update all security on computer and switch to using Firefox, Google Chrome, Avant, Opera, Safari, whatever works for you.
